Songs for our Community

When all of this started, I didn’t want to sing and only wanted to be alone—I needed some time. But now, I’m looking for as many ways to connect as possible. Who wants to FaceTime? Who wants to sing duets over the phone with me? (Still looking, BTW…) Who wants to have a singing lesson online? Anyone up for a never ending text battle?

And then I think about my Grandma who is 90, lives on her own, and doesn’t have the internet. She can’t go online and watch all of these heart warming videos artists are putting out there or do a quick youtube of adorable dog videos for a pick-me-up.

So we’re doing a live stream concert. But I’m also going to make DVDs of the concert to mail out and drop off (safely, of course) at the homes of people who can’t partake in our online community. (If you want one sent out, just let me know!)

Singing songs that inspire hope, laughter and connection, I’m joined by my father, Erwin Stroobach, at the piano for a live stream concert on Wednesday, April 29th at 12:00PM. We invite you to enjoy an afternoon of music making from the comforts of your home. To learn more, click HERE.

Hugs to you all from afar,
S
